How your strong Self-Belief can help change today's political landscape
Don't have the guts to speak out on issues you believe in? Especially about political situations around you and that are effecting you and your family? Ever thought what might family, friends and neighbors think if you voice your opinion? No more! Listen to Anke Otto-Wolf whose experience of "fear to speak out" stems from years living under political oppression, how she expelled this fear from her life, and how she evolved into the Self-Esteem authority of today. Anke is a Jack Canfield trained international speaker and presenter. Check her out at www.mypeaceofthewall.com
Anke is the founder of a profound and gentle method of conveying the tools to self-belief. The "Sedona Pathway to Healing Self-Esteem" embraces successful and proven methods, and intertwines those with the ancient wisdom of Natives. Visit her site http://www.sedonapathwaytohealingselfesteem.com
Anke is an internationally published author, passionate speaker, and an expert on building solid Self-Esteem. She has transformed 'wild' classrooms into tranquil, learning conducive environments; manifests self-esteem in adult learners; and creates the Self-Esteem Tools for teachers and parents.
After an earlier successful career in the performing arts, Anke obtained a degree in Journalism; however, disillusioned about journalistic truth, she turned her passion to teaching and public speaking which provided her with the opportunity to share her vast knowledge. Anke's intense work with inner-city kids has earned her many awards and recognitions such as from former President Bill Clinton and Marian Edelmann of The Children’s Defense Fund. Anke is also the co-writer for a socially significant video against violence, “Go Ahead and tell”, which won an Oscar 1994 from the film Academy in L.A. Additionally, during her years of teaching at inner-city schools, she learned first hand of 'her kids' deepest needs which spurned the creation and publishing of "The Psst-psst of Toley Ranz", an inspiring, educational series of children's books focusing on tolerance and self-esteem. www.toleyranz4u.com
Anke’s self-esteem guide for parents and teachers, “How Many Patches has your Tolerance Quilt?” is offering classroom proven solutions for teachers and parents. Her international success is evident when the Bavarian State Department of Culture & Education, Germany, requested in 2000 the implementation of the Self-Esteem Quilt Project in middle schools.
"My Peace of the Wall" (2009) - is a biographical account from the time of the oppressive former East German dictatorship to the fall of the Berlin Wall which Anke had experienced in her Virginia home in 1989. It's a sliver of German history interlinking with her life as an American.
2009 was 20th anniversary of the historic Fall of the Wall; 2010 marked the 20th anniversary of a united Germany; and 2011 is the commemoration of the beginning of the Wall in Berlin. And 2011 in the US?
"How in the heck did the Wall get to WI?" (book, blog, speaking engagements) is a critical look at the scary, far-reaching political similarities of former East Germany in the fifties, and todays Wisconsin's political upheaval.
Anke's Sedona Pathway Healing workshops are designed for participants to be able to 'expell fear and speak-out' by finding the most inner point of belief in Self, the universe, and in nature. The depth of ancient wisdom is integrated through meditations, quiet moments and gentle guidance.
In 2008, then Senator Obama requested information from Anke about her "Self-Esteem Tools for Teachers" project; it meets requirements of the proposed 'School Districts Improvement Act'.
Every Negative has more Positive. A strong and healthy Self-Image conquers fear to speak out, it allows to embrace "Yes, I can"; therefore, it can change the personal and political landscape.
"The Level of Self-Esteem is the Level of Success."
Why do we love those successful classroom movies? Because we admire how a particular teacher’s successful implementation of Self-esteem has taken his or her kids from “don’t care” to highest achievements! How did they do it? The students were simply introduced to self-esteem; it became their world and their pride. Most of all, these students began to live self-esteem on a daily basis; they made self-esteem part of their lives; it became their Lifestyle! Therefore, success was unavoidable!
