Hello,

My name is Annie Clark, I am a qualified Lifestyle Health Consultant, Author and Guest Speaker.  I started out in the Health Industry in 1985 working in Health Food Shops in Victoria, Australia.  My qualifications include. Nutrition/herbal Medicine Course for Retailers Certificate 1986.  Fitness Leaders' Certificate 1987.  Diploma of Lifestyle Health Consultant 1995.  Certificate of Iridology 1995.  Certificate of Ayurvedic Medicine 1996.  Certificate of Remedial and Swedish Massage 1995. 

I discovered while working in the Health Food shops that I had a knack for writing some good recipes, especially experimenting with gluten free recipes.  I went on to self publish 12 books on health and wellbeing with the first title being "Good Health Recipes From Breakfast To Tea".  I even submitted this book as part of my assessment for the Retailers Nutrition Course.  It was the first time in my life I got an A+ for anything.  So I realized that Health and Wellness was my passion.  I was a runner in the eighties, and completed my first and only Marathon in 1987.  A marathon is running 42 kilometers with a whole lot of other mostly skinny people. I ran from Frankston to Melbourne.

 In 1985, I married Darryl Clark and together we created many projects like my books, and the workshops. In 1993 I published a very special book “In The Raw”, which is a manual about the benefits of Raw food.  This book is full of delicious recipes.  We moved to North Queensland in 1987 and I did a variety of things before we eventually created a private health retreat in Kuranda North Queensland.  For just under 10 years I carried out Raw food Workshops, taught vegetarian cooking and natural living classes at Cairns TAFE College.  I also carried out Iridology and health consultations from Kuranda  and published some more books including a book about digestion and the bowel.  The title is “The Poo In You”. 

My greatest accomplishment was giving birth to my son Jay, on the 28th August, 1996.  I'm proud to say that I had a natural birth and Jay was born in a birthing pool with the sounds of birds and running creek water in the background.

I currently guest speak for various groups on health, books and inspirational stories.  I carry out private health consultations and continue to run raw food workshops from Coolum beach, South East Queensland. 

My passion is helping people to stay well and assisting them to live longer.  I love to inspire people  to be responsible for their own health and wellbeing. 

I’m also very interested in sustainable and energy efficient living.
