Owner/Operator, Busy Beez Services.  I am a Professional Transcriptionist and a Writer, inspiring and motivating, uplifting and empowering.  Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and after completing  high school and business college, I felt a wanderlust and was off to "find myself," which was thee thing to be in search of in the '60s.  I relocated to Chicago, Illinois and at the age of 19 years old I received my Certification as a Business Instructor in the State of Illinois and began teaching at a private business college, Chicago Professional College.  After many successful graduates came back to me with thanks and gratitude for their successful careers, some in the area of law, I become a Professional Legal Secretary and continued in that profession for over 25 year years.   My journey to find myself led me to Los Angeles, California, the state in which I continued my career as a Professional Legal Secretary working for three of the top five law firms in Los Angeles.  I started my first business, BJ Services, a secretarial service, in the legal and entertainment fields.  Los Angeles is where I met and married my husband, who at that time was a radio jazz personality, known as, Tommy.  I worked in the entertainment field as a TV and movie extra and I starred in a movie and featured in various TV shows.    After almost 27 years together, my husband and I now reside in Phoenix, Arizona.  My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and I am now his full-time caregiver.  I've learned from him that "marriage of the heart allows each of us to remain individuals, but yet, that we are one."  Along the way I did "find myself" but the search is not over.  One of the most important truths I discovered is that I am Soul, a co-worker with God and I am still learning.  I'm learning that being a co-worker with God, the universe, I must work quietly and efficiently and humbly.  My journey has taught me to share more, to give more, to receive more and to just be.   In my search I discovered a path that has allowed me to grow into me, to be, and to love and to allow others to be, and to love however they are able to, at any given time.  I know the Light and the Sound of God -- it is the food for Soul, for me, and that Soul cannot live without these two aspects of God coming into its being every day.

"Before you can improve your life and find a measue of happines, you must learn to do one thing every day out of pure love."  Harold Klemp

If you would ask me what my mission is in this life? the answer is simply: to become a Co-worker with God, with life, the universe.  I've learned that I cannot "motivate" any one person to do or to become anything.  But what I do know is that I have the ability and I have a right and an obligation to always inspire and uplift.  Learn the power of I AM.

A HELPING HAND    "It is one of the beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.”  Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Philosopher                                                           A HELPING HAND

"It is one of the beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself." Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Philosopher

"Have you ever noticed that the very best way to lift yourself up is by offering a hand up to someone else? What a wonderful paradox that through giving we receive what it is we really, truly need."

I couldn't agree more. I know for me when I'm so immersed in my challenges and just a myriad of life events, I get almost physically ill sometimes. I'm agitated and irritated often and it's not a state of consciousness that I welcome, whenever it creeps in.

What I have learned and still am learning and have become consciously aware of is that when I take my mind off of me or my circumstance, even for a moment, and focus on the need of another, be it my husband, a friend or neighbor or a stranger, that immediately my spirit is lifted and my burden lessens, in just that moment.

I believe that's one of the spiritual laws of nature. It goes to, the more you give the more you receive; what you want most, give it away; you get what you give, and on and on, ad infinitum. For me, I receive a whole lot more than I'm giving. I get a sense of peace. I get a clear vision of what I set out to become, a Co-worker with God, the Universe. I get to listen to the sound and I get to see the light.

Lending a hand or an ear or a smile or a handshake or a hello to someone else allows me to get back to the pure state of Soul, who is eternal, and takes me closer and closer to the God-like qualities that I am endowed with but had somehow let go of. Giving gives me so much and allows me to give more.

There is so much joy in giving. "May you always know the joy that comes in giving" of your true self.

Blessings,

Brenda
