"As all things are interrelated and connected at a quantum, perhaps sub-quantum level, it stands to reason that this 'understanding of God' that is both without dependency on brain and without definitive recognition of origin, is somehow generated by the interconnection of all substance, both mental and physical."
"I am just as much at home in the Vajrayana as I am in Christianity. I chose to practice Christianity, however, because the level of Buddhism comparable to what I enjoy as an eastern bishop now, was culturally inaccessible to an American living in America."
"Gnosis, enlightenment, satori, parinirvana, whatever you want to call it will be forever closed to anyone who continues to become impassioned by mere perceptual distinctions. One must learn to think archetypally and respect the operations of those archetypes rather than become enraged by their functions."
"The goal of any true Gnostic should be to be of service to the truth, in as much as such a truth is available. Reactionary theology, however, is simply religious intolerance redirected. In keeping with Gnosticism, isn't an "eye for an eye" mentality best left to the thinking of the Demiurge?"
