Carla Masterson was born just before Christmas on December 8, 1950 in Seattle Washington. Her child hood was a mixture of confusion and saddness brought on by her abusive father. She could never understand why anyone would hurt anyone in any way. It never made sense to her and it never will. However, Carla was determined to be part of the cure and not the sickness. So, when she was asked to write her first children's book (What's On The Other Side Of The Rainbow? The Secret Of The Golden Mirror) she jumped at the chance to sing it from the roof-tops, that "Real LOVE will never hurt you. It is a safe place to be" and "It is never alright even when you are ANGRY to hurt anyone in any way. What you want is to have understanding. What you want is to be heard. So, please don't say it with something. Say it with your words". Those words have become a positive mantra for Carla, adults and children WORLD WIDE :-) Carla is determined to help plant a seed of common sense within the hearts of humanity. To remind them through her books that our feelings and emotions are always meant for constructive reasons instead of destructive ones.
