An inspiration to others, Carol Prentice is best known for her ambition, motivation, and her ability to captivate an audience. She is also full of compassion and has a deep desire to help others experience peace in their lives.
On her own, Carol has explored and traveled to 16 different countries around the world and still has goals and dreams of traveling to others. Her love of travel led her to start hosting Yoga Retreats in Costa Rica and other parts of Ontario, Canada. Prior to her extensive travels, Carol completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brock University and another Bachelor's degree in Social Work from McMaster University.
Having always been drawn to study the mind, body, spirit connection, Carol’s path has led her to become a certified Yoga Instructor, a certified Personal Trainer and a registered Social Worker. She has been dedicated to her classical Hatha Yoga practice since 2001 and has been teaching Hatha Yoga with devotion since 2006. The study of Qi Gong is also a very regular part of her personal practice as well.
Carol has an insatiable desire for learning and growing. You will often find her at conferences in Toronto, workshops at Kripalu (www.kripalu.org) or reading yet another book on the true nature of reality. Emotional Freedom Technique (www.emofree.com) and Reiki Level Two are some of her more recent certifications.
She takes a wholehearted approach when guiding students on their path of enlightenment and helping them to experience their connection to the divine. What motivates her the most is the understanding that "Inner Peace leads to World Peace".
Carol’s eventual goal is not only to raise the level of consciousness on the planet but to help others on their path to wisely and mindfully create the life that they most deeply desire in their hearts and that they deserve.
Another motto she lives by is a quote from Buddha:
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.”
