Christopher Baxter, RA – both a registered, practicing architect (RA), and yoga teacher/trainer/practitioner for more than 30 years – I am the author of "Kripalu Hatha Yoga". For 20 years I was a founding member and volunteer resident of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health - the largest residential facility of its kind anywhere.  For seven of those years I was founding director of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association – which I oversaw from day one, to it’s growth into an active, efficient and supportive organization of thousands of teachers, with tens of thousands of students in over 30 countries. I was also instrumental in the development of the internationally known Kripalu Yoga and the highly regarded Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training. As first facilitator and a founding member of Yoga Alliance,  I helped establish that entity as the premier organization responsible for upholding and verifying  the credentials of 200 & 500 hr Yoga Teacher Training schools and teachers throughout the country. Eventually, from my years as a practitioner, teacher, and trainer of teachers I developed my own unique approach to practice - an integration of intuition, ancient and contemporary techniques I call AtmaYoga. Most recently, in the last 10 years as a practicing student of Tibetan Buddhism, I see the vast untapped potential in developing integrative teachings and techniques to bridge the many complimentary aspects of Buddhism and Yoga.
