My name is David Smith.
As a person who has suffered extreme mental illness and come out on the other side, I offer Biblical Life Coaching services to persons afflicted with mental illness who want to improve their lives and achieve new and amazing goals in their lives.
After growing up in an average middle-class family and graduating with degrees in Physics Engineering and Computer Electronics, my life rapidly deteriorated and fell apart. My career as an engineer came to an end as I ended up detained in multiple mental hospitals. At age 33 I was diagnosed "schizoaffective" which is a combination of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It was determined that I would never work again. For many years I did not.
As I stabilized on medications, I began to study Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Christianity, Life-Coaching, and other goal setting and emotional self-help routines.
In the last several years I have worked as an assistant program coordinator of a wellness center, gotten married, bought a manufactured home, received certification as a life coach, earned the highest license granted by the FCC in amateur radio, and much more.
I believe that all persons suffering or diagnosed with a mental illness can make significant progress and improvements. In fact, I teach that each person can live a Full and Complete Life.
