Dawn graduated from The Academy of Somatic Healing Arts with full certifications after completing the 775 hour course. She completed the Mentor program as a teacher assistant in the school's Swedish Technique program and the Neuromuscular Course and and taught Swedish Massage in their program. She is licensed by the City of Lawrenceville, GA in Gwinnett County.

Dawn Peters has been involved with healing arts for the last 15 years. She offers a unique style of massage that combines Swedish, Sports, Neuromuscular massage, and Reiki  energy techniques.  Her office is located near downtown Lawrenceville, convenient to the Historic District and near the Government Annex Building.

Community:

Dawn enjoys working within the community and has coordinated and supervised events at local assisted living homes, cancer retreats, church events and other events such as participating in the Crohns Golfing  and several events  held at Christian City Church which reach out to moms and single women in crisis.

She has been privileged to work with women in recovery thru the Confetti organization who celebrate women who are cancer survivors. Being part of specialized retreats that focus on rejuvenation and restoration is one of the many ways that Dawn has been able to be involved with their journeys.

Family:

Dawn and her husband Mark reside in Lawrenceville, GA and after years of taking a break from foster care are in the beginning stages of rejoining to become a Resource family again. Dawn and Mark were foster parents for over 7 years in New York and adopted 2 older boys from that experience.  

Interests:

Dawn and Mark enjoy spending time with their church family at Christian City Church Atlanta-connecting with others in powerful worship services that are fun, relevant and FAR from boring!  They also enjoy fishing and camping together as a family. 

Even while Camping Dawn can be found giving massages!

Dawn saw her own health improve thru the exchange of bodywork and massage and knows first hand the restoration, relaxation and rejuvenation that massage can bring to one's life!
