Devi Ward is the Co-Founder of Sex Passion Vancouver, the only sexual education center in the world offering qualified instruction in The Secret Tibetan 5 Element Sexual Teachings. She is an Advanced Tantric Sexuality Educator, Certified Tantric Healer, Certified Dakini, and the Founder of Feminine Emergence and Sacred Erotic Dance.
Devi began her journey of Erotic Awakening in 1993, training in the art of sensual movement and dance, and gaining exposure to the world of Tantra through books and video’s.
In 1999 she became a monk of the Ishaya order, and committed her life to cultivating spiritual awareness and meditation. She underwent several years of intense training in Ascension Meditation, as taught by the Ishaya Tradition. This training included; Two intensive training retreats, which consisted of 16 hours of closed eye meditation, 7 days a week, for 6 months, with no outside stimulus such as phones, television, movies or computers. This cultivated a depth of meditative focus and diligence in practice, which laid the foundation for The Secret Tibetan 5 Element Sexual Teachings to later flourish.
In early 2008, Devi began practicing The Secret Tibetan 5 Element Sexual Tantras, with Jacques Drouin, Founder of Tantric Arts of Love. She began several years of intensive education in Tibetan, Taoist, Hindu, and Western Styles of sexual and non-sexual Tantra. Her instruction included 15-20 hours a week of partner Tantra, as well as several hours a week of solo Tantra, academic study, and Tibetan Buddhist classes and mediations with Lama Tashi Dundrup, of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage.
In 2009 She completed the Dakini Certification Course with Carla Tara, at Ohana Tantra School in Mauai, Hawaii. She has been teaching Tantric Educational Classes, Workshops, and Private Sessions in Kauai and Oahu, Hawaii, and most recently Victoria and Vancouver B.C. since 2009.
Devi has had extensive training in Non-Violent Communication since 2005, and was an active member of Kauai NVC from 2008-2011. She has been teaching Compassionate Communication skills since 2009, and offers empathic counseling to help students connect with the deeper underlying needs around their personal and sexual healing.
Devi is also the Founder of Sacred Erotic Dance and Feminine Emergence, a Movement-Healing modality that uses Tantric Movement and Sensual Dance to produce physical, emotional, and spiritual healing in relationship to sexual and sensual self-expression. Since 2005, Devi has taught classes, workshops, and private sessions which have supported many women in fully embracing their sensuality, and personal sexual empowerment. She currently teaches self-pleasuring seminars for women, at The Art of Loving in Vancouver B.C., as well as weekly Feminine Emergence Dance classes at Rhodes Wellness College.
Devi is the author of numerous articles about Tantra, sexual health and healing. She is currently writing her first book “The Art of Self-Pleasuring for Women”, which gives Authentic Tantric suggestions and guidance for awakening the multi-orgasmic potential of every woman.
Devi and Jacques continue their Tantric sexual and non-sexual practices together, under Lama Tashi’s guidance, in Vancouver B.C.
