In London Diana met her future partner Roger Jenkins,an executive banker, at the London Barbican Health club. They married in 1999 and subsequently moved to California, where they now live with their two children.

Philanthropy

Diana Jenkins, an advocate of human rights around the world, understands the importance of not only investigating war criminals, but also bringing them to trial. In order to further the cause, she donated $4 million to establish the Sanela Diana Jenkins International Justice Clinic at the UCLA School of Law. The students and faculty work towards researching, documenting, and recording eyewitness testimony and evidence against war criminals. The aim of the clinic is to develop advocacy strategies for bringing war criminals to justice.

The Sanela Diana Jenkins International Justice Clinic will started by addressing war crimes in the Balkans. The clinic will also continue investigating other incidents of mass crime.

In yet another effort to aid her native Bosnia, Diana Jenkins established a fund to help rebuild the war-impoverished country. Her fund, the Sanela Diana Jenkins Foundation, helps in financing the rebuilding of Bosnian schools and orphanages, homes for the poor, cleaning up the polluted cities and rivers and provides emergency aid. The fund was established to honor Diana Jenkins' late brother, Irnis Catic who died during the war.
