Donald J Gerard BS, MA, CHT

Donald Gerard has been a Life Coach since 2003, although, in reality, he has been supporting people on their path for most of his life. Donald is also the director of the Body Temple Institute, which offers holistic health education online, and is an Advisory Board member for the Center for Global Silence and the Touch Health Association. Donald holds a BS in Business Administration and an MA in Holistic Health Education. Additionally, he studied life coaching with the NLP and Coaching Institute of California, trained in basic acupressure, Tui Na, Shiatsu, and reflexology at the Acupressure Institute, and studied hypnosis and NLP at the Center for Hypnotherapy. He also served as a part-time teacher at Western Career College, teaching Psychology, Math, and Business Communications.

 

Donald attributes his current focus to his deeply transformative experiences in graduate school where he explored paradigms of consciousness, body-oriented psychotherapies, shamanism, collective dreamwork, various theories of the personality, and other tools for exploring one's self. Prior to launching his coaching practice, he spent many years managing computer operations and information systems for various companies in the Silicon Valley and in Los Angeles. In the future, Donald plans to do multidisciplinary doctorate-level research that combines theories and practicies in neuroscience, psychology, and spirituality.
