Efiong Andem MD

Dr. Efiong Andem is an American-trained physician who graduated from Howard University Medical School in 1974. He did his internship and residency training from 1974 to 1978 and has been practicing medicine since 1978. He is licensed in Florida (License number ME30956) and, since 1995, he has been the Chief Medical Officer at Holmes Correctional Institution in Bonifay, Florida. Dr. Andem helped found and is the Chief Medical Officer and Board Member of Faith Health Clinic in Marianna, FL, a clinic that provides free treatment to the indigent population.

For many years, in his medical practice, Dr. Andem has treated patients with hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes mellitus, seizures, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and hepatitis, among other conditions.

Dr. Andem lives in Florida with his family.
