Erin Kurt, B.Ed., discovered her passion for studying families when she herself was a child, interviewing her friends’ parents and siblings to learn more about their family life. Throughout her education and years of experience, Erin became an expert on child development, child psychology, family counselling, and methods of improving children’s self-esteem and learning capabilities.
Erin has been a teacher and a nanny in five different countries. She’s worked with children of all kinds – at all ages, at every socio-economic level, with all kinds of personalities, some with disorders and some with family issues – and through this experience, she discovered that she used the same four steps over and over again to transform the kids she was working with. Erin turned these four simple steps into a full-scale, easy-to-implement system for transforming kids into children who want to behave, be kind, respectful and considerate, and who are incredibly happy and self-confident, while also creating a harmonious, beautiful family life.
Erin has applied her system to children around the world, of all ages and all kinds, and she even uses these same strategies in her own family to create an incredible marriage that makes her glow, and to form an incredible bond with her son.
Erin’s system is the foundation of her newly-released book, Juggling Family Life: A Step-By-Step Guide to Stress-Free Parenting and her business, Erin Parenting (http://www.erinparenting.com), where she runs live workshops, online teleseminars, and offers dedicated moms a free weekly e-zine. Erin’s mission is to help moms resolve their biggest questions: “Am I doing this parenting thing right?” “Am I giving enough of myself?” and “How can I stop being so overwhelmed?” Erin gives parents back more time so that they can do what truly matters: spend quality time with their kids.
Erin has a degree in education from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. She is also the president of Celia and Cedric, Inc., where she is developing the educational products line, "Read and Bake." Recently, she was featured in Families magazine in the UK. She lives with her family in Windsor, Berkshire, United Kingdom.
