I work with individuals struggling with eating disorders of all kinds, also depression and self esteem issues. My approach is gentle and caring. I work with an ecclectic mix of cognitive behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy and dialectic behavior therapy. I believe in the dignity and potential of all clients. I have a Masters degree in counseling psychology from Capella University and am a licensed professional counselor.  I am a Christian and am happy to incorporate faith when appropriate. However, I work respectfully with individuals of all faiths. I am a member of the National Eating Disorders Association, the Academy of Eating Disorders and the Eating Disorders Coalition.

I also founded and direct Eating Disorder Hope, LLC (www.EatingDisorderHope.com). It is an organization committed to providing information, resources and hope to eating disorder sufferers. It is a separate business entity from my private practice.

My practice is specialized entirely in the treatment of eating disorders. I commonly work with a team of nutritionists, physicians, cardiologists and psychiatrists in the care of my clients.
