Jake writes books and does other things (see http://www.earthfeeling.com), is a happily married husband to a beautiful wife (Maria), a new dad to an awesome son, and a full time information junkie who currently resides in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Despite his relatively young age, Jake suffered a strange nervous breakdown a few years back likely due to a combination of an unfulfilling job and an emotionally unfulfilling romantic relationship.

After surviving that, he had to completely reassess his life and make multiple creative changes for the better in order to re-learn how to properly enjoy living life again.

Although not a member of any denominational religion, Jake discovered he had an almost spiritual connection to his family. They would turn out to be the most helpful factor in the difficult journey also known to many other twentysomethings.

Now that Jake has started his own family, these personal relationships continue to be a constant and essential inspiration for his newly rediscovered love of life - even though daily battles with depression-related thoughts still occur from time to time.
