Jane Ilene Cohen is a Transformational and Intuitive
Counselor, specializing in relationships. She has been in private practice since 1995, working with individuals and
couples, as well as facilitating groups. Her passion is in
participating in the human evolutionary process.
Her articles (as well as poems) have been published in "The Light
Connection," "Vision Magazine," "Awareness Magazine,"
"San Diego Bride & Groom," "SpiralMuse," Sparkle-tudes: The Heart of a Woman and The
Heart of a Mother (anthologies compiled by Sheryl Roush), and
Selfgrowth.com. She received an Award of Excellence from Mo
Bailey and Write4Good Communications for her article "Sexual Energy:
Reality versus Illusion."
Since 1970 Jane has explored and practiced various forms of therapeutic and
spiritual disciplines, and self-growth experiences. For 22 years of that time she worked
intensively with an autistic girl, as part of her experience living in a
spiritual community. During her time in the community she was, to a large
degree, living outside of mainstream social experience; and by the end of her
experience in the community (in 1993), she realized how dysfunctional the
community was. Therefore the transition from being in the spiritual
community and reentering main stream experience was an extremely difficult one
for Jane, as she felt disconnected from any external social source to define
reality around. This is when she began an intensive study of A Course in Miracles. Through this
study and practice, she eventually developed a very strong, highly positive,
spiritual plumb-line inside herself to orient her present moment experience of life around, as
opposed to leaning on an outside structure to define reality for her.
In 1995 Jane got her training as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master
Practitioner, a TimeLine Therapy Master Practitioner, and a Clinical
Hypnotherapist, with Tad James, John Overdurf and Julie Silverthorn in Kona, Hawaii.
Jane brings her ever evolving intuitive and empathic abilities, her deep spiritual connection, as well as her passion for participating in the human evolutionary process to all of the work she does, facilitating profound life changes in those she works with.
