Joan also publishes a monthly digital magazine, Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life: 24/seven, which is distributed to thousands worldwide. Her guest and magazine contributors list reads like a who’s who of the most influential and inspirational people in the world. A published author and motivational speaker on the topics of transition and self-empowerment, Joan has been featured in print and broadcast media. Her speaking engagements include the 2012 New Jersey Governor’s Conference for Woman and The Power of Positive Medicine with Dr. Bernie Siegel. She is a voice for the American Lung Association’s Taking A Breath for Women campaign.
Joan began her journey with what she calls a “rebirth” at the age of 46 when her 23 year marriage ended and her mother and sister passed away. Joan used the tremendous loss and personal pain she experienced as the catalyst to a new life. During a period of self-discovery, Joan came to understand that we are impacted by all aspects of life, and are not just the mind, body, soul or spirit, but a sum of the whole. She set out to provide information that connects the dots between these components and it is her goal to educate, inspire, motivate and empower others. She offers hope with her message about the power of positive thoughts and intentions, and she guides people on how to embrace and deal with change instead of fearing and hiding from it.
