Julia was born and raised in the beautiful Crimea on the Black Sea, often called the Russian Riviera. The Crimea has a rich history and due to its strategic importance on the Black Sea, many different empires and people occupied and settled in the region throughout the centuries. After High School, Julia first attended a Culinary College where she also learned about nutrition and dietetics. She went on to massage school and then entered the St. Petersburg University in Sevastopol to study psychology and sociology. During her university years she practized as a massage therapist and also started her modeling career. She left the Crimea in 1999 to live and work in Switzerland where she also met her husband. They later moved to the Caribbean to live and work in Jamaica and Grenada, and traveled the islands. Opportunities called in the USA. Working for a worldwide luxury boutique hotel group, Julia traveled extensively in North and Central America, and Europe. During this time she also free-lanced as a travel writer and as a model, and she attended many luxury travel events all over the world. Having always nurtured her interest in CAM, she decided to return to massage once again and graduated from a NCBTMB approved school in Florida. Her main focus is on women's health and wellness concerns including menopause, breast pain, and natural breast and face firming; and on therapies to ease the symptoms and pain of chronic diseases such as Arthritis, Diabetes and Hypertension. Her company, The Magic Touch Group, is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and plans to add studios in Florida and other states while also offering mobile massage to client's residences, hotels and offices.
