Karen Pierce is a professional organizer and yoga teacher. She helps people transform their lives…inside and out. Karen was introduced to meditation and yoga as a teen and holds many certifications including her 200RYT through Yoga Alliance and is a certified Yoga Ed instructor. A student of yoga for over 25 years, she has been blessed to have learned from many world renowned yogi masters in Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, Power Yoga, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Bikram, and Viniyoga ... but her heart belongs to the teachings of Krishnamacharya and her dedication to her mentor Mark Whitwell. Karen is a gifted teacher dedicated to bringing the practice of authentic yoga to all populations in a safe format that is rooted in exercise science as well as filled with the true spirit of yoga and the essence of how it was taught over 100 years ago. Karen is also the author of Yoga Bear: Yoga for Youngsters - a children's book published by Northword Press (2004), contributed to the book Yoga In America (2009), and will be releasing her relaxation CD Inner Space Journey within the next several months.
