My name is Khummit Hatshepsitu and I hold a Masters in Education from the Counseling Psychology Department at Temple University and a BA in Social Work.  I minored in Psychology and Human Growth and Development to enhance my knowledge of socio-psychological issues. I also am a Certified Colon Therapist and Holistic Health Educator.   Over the past twenty-two years I have conducted seminars, lectures and workshops for a diverse population on the interconnection of physical and mental health.  My focus on nutrition has encompassed the holistic impact of mental, social and emotional stimuli on the inner landscape of the body.

 Additionally, I am a prolific writer publishing a number of articles and three self-help books with special focus on Afrikan American women that analyze the connection between mental, social, emotional health and weight loss/ weight management.  I have just finished my new e-book "Colonic Irrigations and Weight Loss" which will be out this week. www.khummit.com
