Motivational Culinary Expert

Lauren is an internationally known cooking and baking instructor, offering non-vocational (hands-on and demonstration) cooking and baking classes to men, women and teenagers. Classes are given in Lauren’s home-based cooking school and in various culinary facilities throughout the US. These classes also focus on cross-cultural cooking, teaching American cuisine to different nationalities and demographic groups, including male and female inmates on Rikers Island.

 

Along with her classes, Lauren has been featured in The New York Times, The Daily News, Newsday and other media outlets; her recipes and columns have appeared in a broad range of national magazines including Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Victoria, Better Homes & Gardens, Modern Bride, Brides, Lightstyle, and Fine Cooking Magazine. She was introduced in Japan as an authority on American cuisine, and helped launch the premiere issue of Good Housekeeping of Japan.
