Lionel is a passionate workshop and seminar leader and a people-oriented person with an energetic and motivated mindset. Lionel's career spans more than two decades in fields such as leadership, operations, training, human resource development, event organisation, executive search, communication, policy development and managing high-performance teams. He has presented at open programmes and at corporate workshops and seminars, facilitated groups and coached individuals.

Lionel's participants come from the public and private sectors that include the Institute of Technical Education, IBM, Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Police Force, Cargo Community Network, National University of Singapore, Vietnam Post and Telecom, PT Oracle Indonesia, Land Transport Authority, Chanel (S'pore & HK), Central Provident Fund Board, SembCorp as well as international participants to business conferences.

Lionel is a US-certified Emotional Intelligence trainer, a certified behavioural consultant (DISC) and career coach, a professional resume writer and a trained facilitator. His areas of interest are in Leadership and Management, Career Planning and Transition, Emotional Intelligence, Communication Skills, Coaching Skills, Facilitation Skills, Creativity and Innovation and Team Effectiveness.

Lionel has also contributed to the community, having volunteered his facilitation services at the Changi Prison, the Singapore Learning Festival 2004, and the Singapore Government's Feedback Unit, and as a School Parent Facilitator with St Nicholas Girls' School.

Twice on the Dean's Merit List, Lionel graduated with a BA in Communication and Media Management from the University of South Australia. He also holds a Diploma in Training from the Atlantic International University (USA), a Diploma in Building and a Certificate in Small Business Management from Singapore Polytechnic, and a Certificate in Counselling Skills.
