Lisa Kellogg is an Artist, Coach, Counselor & Change Agent, in practice for 10 years who facilitates transformation with processes that increase awareness, inspire action and invite play. She uses a synthesis of strength based models; Solution Focused, Narrative, Expressive Arts, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Co-Active Coaching, (CTI Core Training, 2001), Future Search Conference Facilitation and Theater Improvisation. Having received a BFA (SUNY Purchase, 1986) she spent her twenties in the Arts before getting a Masters in Counseling / Psychology, (Goddard College, 1997). Lisa then spent 5 1/2 years doing crisis intervention family counseling before opening her private practice in 2001.
Lisa currently works with independent professionals and creatives, as well as organizational and business leaders to remove barriers and expand their imagination to find their "inner innovator" and connect to their most important values and vision to reach new levels of creativity, success and fun-fillment.
In her work as a Play Advocate and Time Wizard, Lisa uses a unique approach that is both fun and powerful. Paradoxically, she helps her clients remember their future by creating "Time Travel" experiences where they have distinct imaginary encounters with their possible future. After returning to the present, she assists them in creating a plan to move forward into that preferred future.
Lisa grew up on a dairy farm in Vt and currently lives in the NY Hudson Valley with her kayaking playmate and partner Ed.
"The assumption that what currently exists must necessarily exist is the acid that corrodes all visionary thinking." -Murray Bookchin
