Lois Smithers life-long passion of training young horses, re-training to restore trust, breeding and competing were years of great joy that also brought many injuries.

In the mid 90's, two vertebra fractures and other injuries seemingly healed returned bringing years of disabling pain.

Following Dr. Nicholas Perricone's anti-inflammatory salmon diet, some relief came from constant pain beginning a passion to understand the relationship between Omega 3s, fish and plant form, and their effect upon health and inflammation.
