"Half measures will avail you nothing," as they say.
Please call 914-715-2409 to register as a client for this weight management program that will provide you with the tools to permanently lose weight and maintain that weight. When it comes to staying on track, accountability is everything. So many people begin a weight program, and even if it's a good one, what they don't realize is how all their prior subconscious programming is still with them. And when challenges arise, the mind and that programming is still there to sabotage them.
That's why it's essential to have a coach. If you've never invested in one, consider this well-worn phrase.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Have you been "dieting" primarily alone--without someone keeping you accountable--beyond, say, the first couple of weeks or months?
Remember that you have years--perhaps decades--of ingrained habits that are blocking your permanent progress. While a precious few individuals can make the changes necessary on their own, most folks frankly don't.
For some, having a group works for them, for the six or twelve weeks they'll remain on a program. Others may go as long as a year, weighing in faithfully. But why do you suppose that 95% of those people gain the weight back, and then some?
Accountabilty. The guidance and personal one-to-one that works with the thought patterns and body habits that allowed them to get where they are in the first place. So when you run into challenges, such as reaching a "diet plateau" or falling off an exercise routine, instead of sinking back into the old patterns, you work through it together and come out ahead.
So consider that working with a coach who will help you receive permanent change. While it's great if you can work with your coach in the flesh, it isn't necessary as long as you've got a phone and/or an email system.
One last point. If you're resisting it, get quiet for a moment and ask yourself why. Really, why. Is it the money? If you determine it is, then consider what you've spent over and over again in the past and that you are not where you'd like to be, despite that. Besides, a good program shouldn't cost and arm and a leg anyway.
If you get honest with yourself, you'll probably find that your why is more about fear than anything else. But fear doesn't have to be negative. It can, in fact, be the starting point of something great. Fear can be turned into energy to move you foward into the rest of your life. Fear can also be transformed into faith.
