Rev. Maria Dancing Heart Hoaglund has been doing some kind of spiritual work for most of her life. She has a passion to bring Sacredness and Beauty back to death. Rev. Maria is a United Church Christ minister, author, and transformational healer, with a deep interest and commitment to inter-faith dialogue and the Oneness of all. Maria graduated from Yale College, then attended Pacific School of Religion and Chicago Theological Seminary for her theological studies.
Her books, THE LAST ADVENTURE OF LIFE and The Most Important Day of Your Life?, are inspirational resource book, a unique work that brings together material from all walks of life. It is assisting people who desire to face the end-of-life with courage and hope. Many spiritual traditions are represented. Dancing Heart shares from her rich experience growing up in Japan and her many years with hospice that has expanded her own spiritual life. Anyone facing death, grief, or a transition of some kind would find her book and resources helpful.
One of Maria's passions is the body-mind-spirit connection. Maria is developing a line of gift baskets called "Soul Baskets" -- or Love & Comfort Bundles -- incorporating some of the 30+ tools for healing and relaxation from the last chapter of her book. Maria considers herself a bridge builder who encourages more joy and awareness around living and dying. Her book will help you bring death back to life! She is also now writing as the National Transitions & Grief Examiner at Examiner.com. See her websites for more: www.changewithcourage.com, www.soulbaskets.com, www.runningthebars.com, and www.examiner.com/x-2858-Seattle-Death--Grief-Examiner.
Please see Dancing Heart's "Scheduled Events" page for upcoming Presentations, Workshops, and Seminars. You may contact Dancing Heart directly if you are interested in having her come and present something for your organization. Her contact information is as follows:
"More than ever it is time for each of us on the planet to awaken to our mortality and our spiritual nature. We need to live with more awareness of how we affect others and the interconnectedness of all. As we each begin to heal ourselves from the inside out, we become a part of healing the Earth and others on the planet as well."
"It’s never too early to begin to reflect on and plan for our transition back to the spiritual realm. In fact, it is a spiritual practice to do so."
Dancing Heart has a passion for all of the body-mind-spirit healing modalities. So that people can experience some of the 30+ integrative modalities that are introduced in the last chapter of her book, she has developed a line of gift baskets called "Soul Baskets" incorporating tools for healing and relaxation. (the angels call them Love & Comfort Bundles) Dancing Heart considers herself a bridge builder: Bringing East and West together, bridging this realm and the next, and connecting old time religion with the new spirituality that is being birthed around the world. She also encourages more joy and awareness around living and dying.
Dancing Heart also now writes as the National Transitions & Grief Examiner at Examiner.com.
