Training and speaking about the Applying the Principles of Self- Empowerment is one of Maritza's passions. She leads several groups in San Antonio and is the founder of Our Law of Attraction Podcast mentioned during her interview with Oprah Winfrey for Oprah's XM radio Show, "Oprah & Friends: The Soul Series"
In November 2007, she spoke to a huge crowd at Mark Victor Hansen's MEGA Speaking Event in Los Angeles, California. She talked about her journey from panic attacks to resuming her singing, speaking and performing career by Finding the Hero Within.
She's studied with renown teachers such as Jack Canfield, Lisa Nichols, Brian Tracy and Michael Losier. One of her personal mentors is Dr. Barbara De Angelis. Her passion is sharing principles of self-empowerment. In June 2007, she was be featured in Michael Losier's newsletter which goes out to thousands of people all over the world.
In October 2007, she was included as an expert in book launch of The Secret of Successful Failing by Gina Mollicone-Long along with James Ray, T Harv Eker and Bob Proctor.
Getting Started With Maritza Parra
Maritza began several groups to facilitate the training of people in learning to apply these principles. These groups quickly grew into the hundreds of members. She's integrated these principles into her inspirational and experiential workshop, The Equine Experience. This is an equine facilitated workshop using horses. These beautiful and perceptive animals help people overcome doubt, fear, and negative emotion, the biggest barriers to personal success.
She also began the website Our Law of Attraction Podcast, which is a free virtual study group begun for group members who cannot always make it to meetings. The study groups launched June 4, 2007 and already has hundreds members from all over Texas, the US, South Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Anyone is welcome to join in and learn about applying the Law of Attraction!
