I am a certified master hypnotherapist, life coach for children & families, certified clinical herbalist, author and light worker. I received an Associates Degree in Mind-Body Psychology and an Associates Degree in Holistic Health - Western Herbalism, from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, AZ. I live in Payson, AZ and am the mother of three Indigo children.
I work with children, young adults and the families of those who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD that are experiencing difficulty in their home or learning environments.
Many children that get "labeled" or have been "diagnosed" with this disorder turn to using aggressive or disruptive behaviors. These behaviors usually stem from a deep seated anger or very low feelings of self-esteem or self-worth and the inability to express these emotions in a positive way. Most children can not even identify where these feelings and emotions came from, where they are buried inside them or what it is that triggers the negative behavior itself. Together, we tap into the root cause of these feelings and emotions which in turn allows the child to release it.
I have created a unique combination of hypnotherapy, guided imagery, herbal therapies and life coaching techniques that are complimented with the emotional balancing effects of Flower Essence and Aromatherapy blends to return emotional balance to their lives.
The youth of this country are our future. We need to work together to ensure that they are supported in the gifts and greatness that they came to into this lifetime to teach & share with us - not drugged, dismissed or locked in a box as many in our educational and medical community would prefer.
Schools used to be about the three R’s – you remember - Reading, wRiting, and aRithmatic. Gone are the days when teachers were able to take the time to discover each child’s learning style and actually formulate lessons addressed to every child in their class. Gone is the time when “no child was left behind.” Now it’s about test taking techniques, rote learning and memorization of useless facts. But what if your child doesn’t learn like that? Then there is a diagnosis and a little pill out there to fix it.
It’s time to return “Back 2 Basics©” – it’s time to rewrite the 3 R’s - Remove derogatory labels, Rebuild self-esteem and Recognize the greatness in each child. Let’s work together to identify the ways these children can receive the education our country requires without blanketing their creativity & the intelligence that they were born with.
