Maureen uses telepathy and compassion to communicate with animals, offering consultations for problem solving, behavior issues, support with sickness, death and dying, transitions, and connections to animals who are now in spirit. Her animal communication practice is called Animal Translations. Most of her work is done remotely, but she also makes onsite visits to animals in New England.
Maureen offers special consultation rates for cats with cancer, and for thoroughbreds who have recently been retired from the racetrack.
She is a certified graduate of Carol Gurney's Intensive HeartTalk training program for professional animal communicators. Maureen adheres to The Code of Ethics developed by Animal Communication pioneer Penelope Smith.
She writes a free monthly eNewsletter, "What's Up With Animals?" and is the editor of The Animal Communication Book Club, featuring reviews of books on interspecies communication, complementary healing for animals, enhancing our relationships with our animals, and connecting with animals in spirit.
Maureen sponsored The Conference on Complementary Animal Healing in November, 2012, and is the organizer of The Conference on Animals in the Afterlife, to be held in Boxborough, MA on November 3rd, 2013.
Believe, be open, and be willing to be surprised!
That’s my advice to you if you’re considering the idea of a communication consultation with one of your animals.
You may be delighted and amazed by your animal’s level of understanding. Animals are adept telepathic communicators, and are capable of sending vivid images of their preferences and life experiences. Their innate ability to talk without words can enable a Communicator to uncover valuable clues about a lost animal’s whereabouts, for example, or help to resolve seemingly inexplicable behavioral problems.
Animals also have definite opinions about changes in their lives or lifestyles, and are often very open about expressing them! The uncertainty created by the arrival of a new family member, the upheaval caused by a recent move, or the sadness resulting from the loss of a human or animal friend are deeply felt by our creature companions. By reaching out to them telepathically, we can help to reassure them and ease the transition.
The telepathic communication pathway between an animal and a communicator is a two-way street. Meaningful messages can be conveyed in ways that are not always possible in ordinary conversation. Animals will often tell you their secrets, if you know how to ask, and how to listen.
Even animals who have passed into spirit form remain accessible, and it can bring great comfort to their people to receive affirmations of their continued existence, and to know that they are doing just fine, possibly to return in the body of another animal.
For long-distance animal communication consultations, I will communicate with your animal “offline” and will then type up a transcript of our conversation, which I will send to you via Email or regular mail, whichever you prefer.
We will then schedule a time to discuss the communication by phone, so that I can better describe any nuances that can not always be accurately conveyed in a written message, and talk with you about questions or issues that may arise as a result of the information I received during my session with your animal.
I allot approximately 90 minutes for each consultation, as follows: actual communication with your animal (30-45 minutes); preparation of written transcript (15 minutes); followup telephone call, after you have had an opportunity to review the transcript (30 minutes).
Please note that I am not currently taking lost animal cases, but would be very pleased to refer you to one or more reputable communicators who specialize in this work. If you know where your animal is, but have been unable to persuade him to come to you, I can often assist with these situations.
