Mike is the director of Speakman Coaching & Consulting. He is a Life-Coach who has dedicated his life to teaching people how they can resolve conflicts and frustrations by using their anger in self-empowering ways. His knowledge comes from working in Treatment Centers since 1988.

Presently, Mike devotes most of his time working with couples. Each couple receives coaching, and practice, in proven methods for resolving conflicts and creating a more harmonious and long-lasting relationship. Mike uses one  of  his "Healthy Expressions of Anger" Workbooks in the process. This way, each couple creates a "personal peace-making handbook" together.  Now they can  refer to it in the future as they continue to refine their peace-making skills.  

Mike developed his first Anger Management Program in 1991 for the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. Since then, he has developed and taught Anger Management and Anger Education Classes for the general public, both private and public agencies, high-school and community college students, and the criminal-justice system. In 1996, Mike was named: “Counselor of the Year” by the Arizona Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors.

Mike is the author of the Healthy Expressions of Anger Workbook for Couples series; which also includes a Workbook for Christian Couples and a Workbook for Recovering Couples.
