I am the living proof that it is never too late to be great. It is never to late to start fresh. It is never too late to overcome the greatest failure of your life to find success, peace, clarity and contentment. It is never too late to just get over yourself because it is NOT about you. Stop blaming others, stop making excuses, stop judging and discover for yourself that it's really all about how you treat others. Serve and Prosper.

There are really only four things to master in your life to find any lasting peace and success...

I'm sorry

I forgive you - please forgive me

I am so grateful for everything in my life - all of it

I love you

I started my professional career in the real estate/ mortgage business. I was very good at what I did... but I hated it. The money was good...but I was frustrated and stressed. It took a while to discover that the part I really liked was "the teaching". I loved mentoring and coaching people to make good financial decisions. After 12 years in the business, I moved out of brokering mortgages to mentoring, coaching and teaching both professionals in the mortgage business to be the best they could be and buyers to get the best deal and everything they ever wanted to know about mortgages... the truth behind the secrets. That was the best! I loved it when a client would save thousands just from being well informed.

It wasnt until I had the "crash" of my life. The ultimate failure and great collapse of my "empire" that I re-discovered who I really was and what path I wanted to be on. The highway of happiness was re-dedicated after massive repairs and reconstruction. It doesnt matter what the specifics of my failure were - it is only important to say- adversity has a purpose in our lives and how you react to it will determine your circumstances - for good or for bad.

My professional experience includes owning my mortgage company for 15 years, running a fly fishing lodge in Alaska with a friend and my sons. I have written training manuals and trade articles for the mortgage industry. I have spent time on the radio, wrote a weekly newspaper column, developed a literacy program for underprivileged women, authored an "Overcoming Adversity" rehabilitation program for women. My passion is helping women overcome horrible, life changing events in their lives...to give them the self discovery tools that will open the windows to empowerment.

MY personal life is centered on my faith and my family. I have been married for 34 years to this hot guy with great legs ! We have 5 incredible children that are all grown now with families of their own. My kids are all athletes and have great business minds. Two of my boys are still in college participating on their University track team...one is a nationally ranked polevaulter. Let me tell you , watching your child ( even though he is 24 years old) fly over a bar 18 feet into the air is a heart stopping experience and I love every minute of it. WOW! I have 8 grandchildren and they are fabulous and an important part of our life. We love fishing and spending our summers in Alaska. If anyone is interested in booking a trip - fishing, flying over the glaciers, hiking up the rivers, basking in the warm summer sun watching bears and moose... just let me know

Favorite Quotes & Thoughts from Nancy Low

My favorite # 1 quote is

"Never die of someone else's misery " Francois Duc De La Rochefoucauld

When I was in my 49th year I decided to read a book every week until my next birthday. I got to my 52cnd book with 2 weeks to go and I was headed to Alaska for those 2 weeks and I wondered should I read more or quit at 52. What books would I take with me? I took a book that had sat on my shelf for several months. I dont rememebr the author but it was titled " Write it down , Make it Happen" . It was a simple straight forward book and full of the most powerful thoughts I had never considered ! I have captured this phrase and made it my own and belive in it's power - "Write it down, Make it Happen." Whatever you want to accomplish in your life, big or small ...write it down . Your ideas mean nothing unless you write them down and take action.

There is only one obstacle barring your progress: your own reluctance.

My favorite book of all time is a little paperback written in the 80's by Grant Harrison as a missionary training tool for our church called "Drawing on the Powers of Heaven" . I love it !

And my friend Eileen McDargh has this great new book titled " Gifts from the Mountain - simple truths about life's complexities" THe watercolor illustrations are incredible and her simple messages garnered from mountain climbing are refreshing and applicable. Go to her website at www.eileenmcdargh.com for more info and to buy the book
