My wife, Maggie, and I have been involved in this work for many years now.
I suppose I was the one who originally started in this area, but now we work together for all our clients. We use dowsing and the natural intuitive skills which we have developed to locate and deal with the issues we find.
We use Modern Western Geomancy as an approach in all our work. Based on the ancient science of geomancy, we have adapted, deepened and expanded that wisdom to act as a framework for what we do.
Essentially, we aim to create balance in the environment, whether that environment is the personal, internal one or the external, physical one.
We have clients from all over the place and use a variety of techniques to achieve that balance in their lives
It all starts with dowsing. Without that, we would be at a loss.
As to formal background, I have a degree in History from the University of London, while Maggie has two Biology degrees. I taught for many years, not just History, but also Philosophy and Computing, whilst Maggie worked for many years for NASA in their research department.
I suppose you could say we've had a fairly typical schooling, but we've put it to good use in a new way!!
We offer courses on our work because it is such an overlooked aspect of health. Europe is way ahead of us in terms of research and general acceptance of how the invisible aspects of the environment can and do affect us all.
We would love to have many, many people learn to do what we do. We can only work with so many people and there are so many properties which need clearing!
Most of the things which come to mind when faced with this section are old jokes from books I've read, films I've seen or shows I've listened to as a kid.
As such, they wouldn't mean much to anyone else (Honestly now, how many of you have heard of the Goon Show let alone listened to it?) and I'd hate to have to explain them all.
Which leads me to suppose that about the only really useful thing I would like to add here is that if you can't find and appreciate humor in your life, you're missing out on so much!
You should fall off your seat in an agony of laughter at least three times in your life... For me that would be the opening sequence of Airplane! when I first saw it years and years ago, and reading Bored of the Rings for the first time...
I'm waiting for number three! (But I think the next Terry Practhett book just might do it!)
So, all in all, you have to find humor, in whatever you do. Maggie and I laugh a lot, and it's the greatest help of all because how can you be stuffy when you know there's going to be something to make you (and your client) feel good?
