Main Areas: Nikki now resides in Park City, Utah and has remained very involved with the Olympic movement by sitting on nine different Olympic and Sports Committees, including:
• Athlete Ambassador & USA Strategic Advisory Board for Right To Play -- A humanitarian, non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to improving the lives of the most disadvantaged children and their communities through Sport for Development
• Co-chair & leader of the USOC Athlete SUMMIT Program -- A United States Olympic Committee Program where 8 Olympic Medalists help organize and develop a plan that teaches future Olympians skills to become a world success in their field of endeavor
• Boardmember of US Skiing Foundation – A committee managing a charitable donation that is used to fund operating expenses and future programs for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team
• Boardmember of the Utah Athletic Foundation – A committee created to help sustain the existence of the three legacy venues from the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and the sports participating there.
• Boardmember of the Women’s Ski Jumping USA – A non-profit organization which promotes Women’s Ski Jumping and helps them gain equality by become an Olympic Sport
• Boardmember of the Utah Sports Commission -- A non-profit, charitable organization created to foster national and international amateur sports competitions to be held in the state of Utah, which will enhance the quality of life of all Utah citizens and strengthen Utah's presence in the worldwide sports community
• Boardmember of the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games – A committee working to bring the Summer Olympic Games back to Los Angeles, California
• Advisory Council of the USOC Olympic Winter Games Legacy Scholarship – A committee helping make tuition grant decisions for Olympic athletes attending college
• Boardmember of the Golden Games -- An “Olympic-style” year-round program and event that has been implemented in the Salt Lake City, Utah area encouraging seniors to stay active.
Nikki’s continual devotion to her various charities and committees is a sign of her concurrence with Cullen Hightower’s quote: “A true measure of worth includes all the benefits that others have gained from your success."
In addition to her skiing and speaking endeavors, Nikki is also a Magna Cum Laude undergraduate of Union College in New York and a 4.0 Suma Cum Laude graduate of the University of Utah in the field of Sports Psychology. With her incredible academic record and her remarkable presentation skills, Nikki was asked to work as a Visiting Professor at the University of Utah. Her aerial retirement is less than restful, as she trains other Olympic athletes in speaking skills, hosts group skiing adventures, counsels aspire elite athletes in sports psychology, participates in numerous sponsor promotions for major national and international companies, and devotes time to charities such as “Right To Play”, “Make-A-Wish Foundation”, and “Breast Cancer Research”.
You may have seen Nikki in one of her numerous television appearances on such shows as Late Night with David Letterman, the Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN Early Addition, MSNBC Morning Line, ESPN Magazine show, FOX News Sports Express, CNN Business As Unusual, FOX Sports News live, and the Late Late Show with Tom Snyder. You could have also caught Nikki in one of her nationally televised commercials for companies like Chevrolet and the Salt Lake Olympic Committee. Nikki Stone adds a unique, dynamic flavor to any meeting, celebration, or ski event. It’s no surprise that Nikki core belief is that NO obstacle is too large to overcome and that each one of us can reach our ultimate goals.
