Nita Helping Hand? was started in 2002 by me, Nita Robinson-Ammon, on a part-time basis while working at a full-time job. After being downsized for the fourth time in seven years, I decided to start getting really serious -- working at it much more, along with a few other projects.
Although I was an executive assistant, office manager, and project coordinator for many years, I was also in customer service for several years. This included training other employees, so my customer service skills are extremely strong.
I've been a professional proofreader for 20 years, as well as providing administrative and project work for over 19 years. I have acquired excellent contacts and references over the years, as well as having the opportunity to refine my skills.
When it comes to proofreading and editing, there are a variety of types of writing. Some writing is in a very professional style, while others are in a more conversational style and I work well with both types. My work is guaranteed and if you're not happy with it, it's FREE!

I'm the extremely proud Mother of three grown children, I have a wonderful son-in-law and 3 gorgeous grandchildren, with another one on the way soon! I'm newly engaged and we're having a great time taking weekend trips together to destinations all over the country and can't wait to start traveling internationally as well.
In 2008 I started a non-profit, Fallen Servicemembers, in special honor of my nephew, LCpl Robert (Robbie) Lynch, a Marine who was killed in Iraq in 2007. l am an active member of Oldham Chamber and Economic Development, and the Prospect Area Chamber of Commerce, former Assistant Director of the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival, former BPW (Business and Professional Women) officer, and I volunteer for other events and non-profits throughout the year.

Getting Started With Nita Robinson-Ammon
So much great information goes out to the masses, but the quality is instantly diminished when people find errors in it. The author's credibility instantly goes down significantly. You also have to make sure people truly understand exactly what you're trying to say. This can easily be corrected by having your work proofread and/or edited for content.
