
So who am I and why should you listen to me?
Well, to start with I am not someone who has been overweight and lost it all. I am however someone who has been in the situation of having, no confidence, low self esteem, zero self respect and no love for myself or life and felt that I would never find a way out of the recurring trap that I found myself.
I had spend the best part of my teenage life and early twenties trying systematically to destroy everything that was great in my life due to the fact that I really did not like myself and the more I indulged myself into these self destructive activities the more I hated who I was and what I hade become the more I indulged in worse and harsher self destructive activities...
I am hoping that you are able to see the connection now between my previous activates and the activities that many overeaters and emotional eaters find themselves.
For me self loathing + self destructive behaviours = more self loathing.
Along this journey I was introduced to personal development, a medium to assist you in getting your life back on track and thinking in a more productive way....I lapped this information up from the likes of Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn and other great personal development leaders.
The thing that I found was although I could now see the problems and had the solutions (much like needing to lose weight and finding a diet) I found it difficult if not impossible to actually put the solutions that I had learnt into practice.
One of my great friends at the time introduced me to mind reprogramming and all of a sudden, things started to change rapidly at an unconscious level and my life began to turn around for the better in a big way. I started to study everything I could find on reprogramming the brain and mind power and began using this mind technology to transform my life.
At this time in my life I got made redundant as the company that I worked for went bust. We had a young baby and my wife was on maternity leave. We decided that she would go back to work and I would take over as the "mummy". This was an interesting time and gave me the opportunity to experience exactly what it was like to be looking after a young baby, do all the domestic stuff and try to keep my own life in order.
During this period I spent a lot of time hanging out with other mothers at play groups and clubs. What I started to notice was that some of the women that I was coming into contact with who had weight issues were suffering from the same emotional issues that had been plaguing me for so many years.
It got me thinking, if these women are having the same issues as me and instead of doing the same destructive behaviours that I had been taking part in, but instead were eating vast amounts of food to make them feel better, then is it possible that the same transformational mind reprogramming techniques that I had been using could work for them too?
After taking numerous courses over a 3 year period to becoming qualified to practice mind reprogramming and doing months of research and study into emotional eating and dieting I found that most diets did not work and the conclusion was that it was because they did not address the underlying issues that were causing the overeating in the first place and that dieting was simply dangerous for the body and could actually cause some of the diseases that it was supposed to be preventing.
I felt the compelling urge if not a duty to share this with as many people as possible; it has in fact now become my purpose in life to educate people who want to lose weight on using the mind to change and how to work from the inside out.
Back to the story...I then started to tell a few people I knew about what I was doing and gave them the opportunity to try some of the things out. And to my amazement the results were staggering, one of them lost 8 pounds in the first 2 weeks and had grown so much in confidence that they had been give a promotion at work, with more money and responsibility. She said that before she had started working with me the people at her office did not even know her name.
My first client went from being overweight, totally miserable and binge eating at the slightest sign of stress to a fun loving, happy confident mother and wife, who is well on her way to becoming an accomplished children’s writer who now loves life and food and looks forward to each and every day.

Our outer world is a direct reflection of our inner world, this being said if we feel stress, anxiety, pain or any strong negative emotions and use food as a way of suppressing these emotions we are sure to head into a spiral of overweight-ness and further self loathing.
