As a stay at home dad for the past seven years, with two exceptional young boys, a passion grew in me to help them develop the emotional stability to cope, in a positive way, with the stresses and negativity that have consumed our society.  Despite the bad news, scientific studies on emotion over the past twenty years have shed new light on the possibilities for positive change.  These studies, coupled with years of interest in the Philosophy of Happiness, have motivated me to discover my purpose, which is to provide not only my children, but every child with the tools to live a happy life, which is a life they strive for every day, though for so many more children, year after year, this becomes an agonizing up hill battle.  Childhood depression has reached epidedmic proportions, and this just simply should not be.  I am determined to do everything I can to help them.
