In early 2001, Patty Gale left her 19-year corporate career as an investment professional and turned to the internet in search of a way to start her own business from home. All she knew back then was that she didn’t want to leave her newborn daughter in daycare.
Back then, most of us were still on AOL dial-up and resources to learn how to create a website, (in language we could understand!), were practically non-existent. Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, and his co-founders, were still in high school and a ‘tweet’ was something that birds did.
Says Patty, “Regardless of what industry you’re in or what you do to pay the bills, when it’s all said and done, the only thing that really matters is the difference we make in the lives of others.”
She is married to her best friend, Doug, and is the proud mom of three great kids, Sean, Matt and Emily.
