After raising 5 children to adulthood I realized I had never followed my dreams. When my son died in August of 2000 a friend sent a peer counselor who had lost a child to help me deal with my grief. By learning to help others deal with their grief I began to heal. I also learned new coping skills that lead me to become a peer counselor.

I'm simply a person whom strangers will walk up to and begin to tell their problems. I'm intuitive by nature. I feel comfortable giving others skills to help themselves become who they wish to be. By learning that your thoughts create your reality and by choosing to change your thoughts you can have the life you've only dreamed of before.

I have been trained in peer counseling for at risk youth and their families and certified as a peer counselor. I particularly enjoy people-oriented work in which I'm able to combine things in new and different ways to benefit humanity. Flexibility and autonomy is important to me.
