All of us face challenges in this life.  Certainly some difficulties are far more challenging than others.  These challenges must be met and overcome in order for us to fulfill our individual destiny. 

 

You cannot enter your future, until you are willing to let go of your past.

 

 I have had to overcome multiple challenges including blindness, cancer, heart problems, anxiety, and financial devastation.  It is my life mission to use these tremendous experiences to help bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.  I also believe that my success in overcoming these challenges will inspire and motivate others to overcome the obstacles that they face.  My message will greatly help to equip, whether a believer or not, to be a victor and not a victim!

 

I was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa when I was five years old.  This disease leads to total blindness in many, and is the same disease that Stevie Wonder suffers from.  At age 21, I was diagnosed with two forms of testicular cancer, one of which presented a 90% kill rate.  With less than a 10% chance of survival, I had to not only overcome the ravages of the disease and its treatment, but fear, anxiety and so much more.  By age 26, I was divorced.  I had to overcome the shame, guilt and loss associated with such a tragedy.  The cancer alone had left me over $100,000 in debt because I had no  insurance at the time.  The divorce only led me deeper into financial despair. 

 

Today, my life has turned around dramatically, thanks to the miraculous Living God.  Jesus Christ is first and foremost my source for everything in my life.  I am still living with the blindness, but have experienced some improvements.  I am cancer free, and now minister to cancer patients at a local hospital.  I am living debt free, having never filed bankruptcy.  Through the principles in my book, you will learn how I have overcome all these great challenges, and how you can too.

 

I was a secular radio DJ for over 5 years.  Currently, I am a licensed Reverend, with a Bachelor of Pastoral Ministries.  I am pursuing a Masters in Christian Counseling.
