I am a United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. I suffered from PTSD for almost 40 years before I even knew there was a name for it.

I have been a student of Peak Potentials for about 2 years now and 1 of the seminars I attended was called Life Directions.

At that seminar I became eminently aware that I had to do something about PTSD. It came out that I was to write a book on the subject and several other goals were set.

One day a couple of years ago my daughter asked me what I did in Vietnam. I can't even begin to explain how I felt at that moment. My heart nearly stopped and I couldn't breath. You see, I hadn't talked about Vietnam to ANYBODY since I came home in 1967. NOBODY, except me, knew what I did in Vietnam. I hadn't even told my wife of over 25 years. Now I was faced with a dilemma. Now I HAD to tell someone - my daughter. Of course she wasn't the only person in the room with that question was asked. My wife was there and so was my other daughter. At first I couldn't speak.

While doing research for my book a lot of interesting things happened. First, I started to look at my symptoms in a different way. I suddenly felt like I was justified in the way that I had been feeling for all these years. And as a result of this new found knowledge, I began to feel better.

I am out of time right now so I will continue this later. Please come back again and see what I discovered.
