Seth-Deborah Roth is Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and a Certified Hypnotherapist. She has over 39 years in the medical field. She is a member of the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists as well as holding membership in the NGH (National Guild of Hypnosis), the IACT, (International  Association of Counselors and Therapists  the IHF, the ABH, , and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

She has been featured on the Discovery Channel's "MythBusters" segment on hypnosis. She is a Certified Instructor and adjunct faculty member of the National Guild of Hypnosis as well as an instructor in Medical Hypnosis at the " Hypnotherapy Center" in Oakland, California. She received the 2005 "Award of Excellence" in the category of Health Care from the International Hypnosis Federation.  She is a speaker at many conventions and hospitals regarding the uses of clinical hypnosis.
