Dr. Sharon Turnbull is an innovative educator who encourages contemporary women and men to discover and use their god and goddess archetypes to find authenticity and balance in their lives. Through her websites, books, radio show and e-zine, she helps women find ways to connect with their inner goddess to build self-confidence, soulful connections and fulfilling lives.

Sharon is particularly fond of gathering and crafting stories that teach, transform and inspire others.  Her first book written for the general public was released in the spring of 2007 and quickly became a bestseller at amazon.com.

Goddess Gift: Discover Your Personal Goddess Type offers its readers an inspiring new way to discover the goddess within and use that connection to the ancient goddesses in order to be more authentic,  self-confident and fulfilled in their lives.

Recently Sharon became the host of her own radio program, A Goddess Life,  on QTWorldRadio at Live365.com.  Her shows are aired several times a day.

Following her retirement from an academic career, Dr. Turnbull devoted herself to the development of the popular Goddess Quiz, the first scientifically based archetype test on the internet. While the Goddess Quiz is a full-scale scientifically based personality assessment, a 'just for fun' mini-version  developed for site visitors has been featured in CosmoGirl and Women's World magazines.

Sharon formed the Goddess Path partnership with two of her daughters and now manages their three  websites devoted to mythology and archetypal psychology.

Primary among them is Goddess Gift, a site that celebrates and nurture the goddess in every woman.  The site features the goddess myths, meditations and affirmations, essays, articles, and book reviews along with a showcase of goddess art and a shop that carries  goddess jewelry (pendants), statues and shrines as well as the author's books and the Goddess Quiz as well as the Greek Gods Quiz for men.

Dr. Turnbull  holds degrees in nursing, health care administration, and a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Oklahoma. In addition to working in a community mental health center, she is a senior partner in a consulting firm offering educational services to the health care community.  During her academic career, she  served as the director of a busy student health clinic, an assistant dean of student affairs,  was the university liaison with community programs for abused women and rape victims, and the director of an award-winning program for adults returning to school. An author and international lecturer in the field of health care, sex therapy, adult development, gerontology and women's issues, she shares her work with a gentle graciousness, enthusiasm and humility.

As author of The Goddess Gift Newsletter, a free monthly e-zine, she reaches thousands of women throughout the world each month with an entertaining and  provocative look at the lessons of the goddesses and their relevance to the lives of contemporary women.
