Sheetal Contractor is a Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Massage Therapist in the central New Jersey area.

After being a business professional for 15 years, in the summer of 2006, Sheetal took a leap of faith, resigned from the corporate world and decided to pursue her passion – teaching yoga and providing healing massage therapy. She soon started her company, SoLuna Yoga, LLC and launched her own brand of yoga products and services called “Anyone Can Do YOGA!”

In her experience, Sheetal found that so many people were intimidated by yoga because of misconceptions. But as she sees it, "anyone can do it and anyone can benefit from it!” Through SoLuna Yoga, Sheetal has made it her mission to bring wellness to everyone through the teachings of yoga.

Sheetal's background includes certification from AAAI/ISMA (American Aerobic Association International/International Sports Medicine Association) as well as training from a variety of yoga “schools” including Sivananda, Iyengar and Yoga Fit Training Systems. Since 2001, she has taught Hatha Yoga at various studios and wellness centers, at corporations and also to private clients in NJ and PA.

Most recently, Sheetal has authored the e-book Anyone Can Do YOGA! (… So What’s Stopping You?) - a guide to demystify yoga. Free introductory chapters are available for download on www.anyonecandoyoga.com. Her upcoming projects include “Anyone Can Do YOGA!” meditation CDs and set of yoga DVDs following this same concept.
