Mapping Midlife - Sensational at 60 Expert

As president of Susan R. Meyer, Coaching and Consulting and Life-Work Coach, I provide personal and executive coaching and workshops on topics including career development, life planning, goal setting communications, emotional intelligence/anger management and strategic learning.  I develop and facilitate workshops and teleclasses, including Women Living for Today and Tomorrow, featured in The New York Times, and the teleclass series and e-book Mapping Midlife – Sensational at Sixty.  My coaching practice focuses on executive development and working with women in transition.  I have over 20 years of experience designing and establishing learning experiences for individual and organizational development in government, not-for-profit, social service, educational and corporate settings.  I also create leadership development, reflective mentoring, team building, problem solving, communication, and performance management programs for organizations.

I bring an eclectic background to my coaching practice.  My skills in getting to the heart of problems and working with clients to craft clear solutions grew out of years of teaching (pre-school through grad school), counseling college students and women returning to the workforce), and training (trainers and line staff through executive managers).  This experience set allows me to see the common themes in problems - whether I'm working with pre-schoolers or corporate executives.

I have a doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership and masters degrees in counseling and educational psychology.  As a result of my work with women entering college after a lengthy absence from school and/or work, my dissertation addressed Self-concept Change in Black Re-entry Women. I Don't Wanna - Free Teleclass

If you're feeling stuck or resistant - not moving ahead on that great project, take an hour to kick-start yourself on Wednesday, March 19, 2008: Noon EST.

How often have you known that there was a next step for you to take... but didn't want to
take it? For example, you know you need to or "should" lose weight, eat better, and more.
Maybe you want to take a course to improve your skills... but.... You might be saying, "I don't wanna"... do the work, take the risks, explain to those around me what I really want..If that's the case, join Ann Fry and me for the "I Don't Wanna" teleclass. It'll be on March 19th at noon (EST). For one hour, we'll explore the "I don't wannas" that hold us back and how to navigate through them. To register, email me at drsusan.meyer@gmail.com  and I will send you the phone information for the call.

Don't die with your dreams inside you! Go for it! You'll never know what brilliant action is
hiding behind your temporary stall.
