There are two types of experts those with academic credentials and those with specific expertise developed through life experience.

Toma is the later. Toma's expertise is in controlling blood glucose with diet. He was close to death when he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He had to learn how to manage his own type 2 diabetes and got very good at it. Hhis last A1C was 5.0 without using meds. His credential is his meter and his labs.

There are many who talk the talk about controlling blood glucose but few who walk the walk. Few are actually facing the problem and controlling it as well as he is without medications.

There are Many I talk with who are giving advice are on medications and still their numbers are not as good as mine. I not only talk the talk, I walk the walk and I am willing to prove it to any skeptic with my labs.
