Thank you for your interest.
My background
My coaching skills were forged at the tender age of 10 whilst working for my dad in London during the summer holidays. Being in 'the eye of the storm' gave me and my four sisters a unique insight into the highs and lows of running your own business.
I believe strongly in emotional intelligence and have found that in most cases the biggest bottleneck to anyone's success usually boils down to the same thing, the same person...you.
To develop yourself fully I believe you must learn to trust yourself, let go and open your mind and heart. Once you 'get out of your own way' then things really start to shift and you can make massive leaps forward both personally and professionally.
Life highlights include 30 years working as a PA in TV and Radio Advertising, Law, IT Project Support, Coffee Trading and Education.
For 10 of those years I was also a summer sports coach, taking a succession of rounders teams to glory. This convinced me that I had a gift for getting the very best out of people.
My Training
I trained as a Life Coach with the Coaching Academy and qualified in 2004 and am also a licensed practitioner of NLP, undergoing further training with both Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler. I am a Level 2 EFT Practitioner, as well as being trained in holistic therapies (Reiki Level II and Advanced Indian Head Massage). I am a member of the International Coach Federation and The Federation of Holistic Therapists. You can find me on Linked In, and Ecademy. I am also trained to deliver DISC Behaviour Assessments. Follow me on Twitter!
I love books and read scores of novels during my teenage years and early 20's having been inspired by the novels of F Scott Fitzgerald. Agatha Christie and Edgar Allen Poe. I later turned my attention to Personal Development and now have a huge resource library of books on this subject, which is the lifeblood of my work.
I live in Braintree and love walking, flamenco, watching Strictly Come Dancing, Heroes and Top Gear. I have been a cellist since the age of 11 and am a member of the Essex Symphony Orchestra.

Often people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or more money in order to do more of what they want so that they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are then, do what you need to do, in order to have what you want - Margaret Young
Arrogant or critical people are often people with low self-esteem who are afraid of taking risks. You see, if you learn something new, you are then required to make mistakes in order to fully understand what you have learned. There are so many “intelligent” people who argue or defend when a new idea clashes with the way they think. In this case, their so-called “intelligence” combined with “arrogance” equals “ignorance - Robert T Kiyosaki

Through some strange and powerful principle of “mental chemistry” which she has never divulged, Nature wraps up in the impulse of strong desire "that something” which recognises no such word as impossible, and accepts no such reality as failure - Napoleon Hill
You can spot true internal power because the people who have it also have enormous charisma. The more self-reliance you develop, the more real power you will generate for yourself. And that will make you immensely attractive to other people - Napoleon Hill
Forget about avoiding risks. A grand life, a big life with a juicy agenda has to have risks. There is not alternative - Fiona Harrold
Perseverance is a great element of success. If you only knock long enough and loud enough at the gate, you are sure to wake somebody - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
“Listening is a magnetic and strange thing,
a creative force. The friends who listen to us
are the ones we move toward. When we are listened to,
it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.”
George Bernard Shaw
Getting started is simple. Just choose to decide, today.
They say that courage is first being able to recognise fear, and then overcoming it. But, it also take a really smart person to choose, decide and then to take action.
It's the thinking beforehand that creates all the anxiety.
