I believe we all have a prime-evil need to walk into a wood on our for an hour or two. After a while you will feel your senses tuning in to nature. If you have taxing problems or challenges and you keep your mind free, the solutions and practical ideas, and sometimes genius ideas will start to flow to you.

I think that's a great category to add, particularly now that everyone's focused on that issue. More and more often I see people bringing their own grocery bags into stores and it makes me smile. Finally we're doing something - a small something, but at least it's there.

It used to be each household made its own everything: She made the soap, the spun what the fabric was going to be woven from, and she wove it, then she sewed it by hand. Didn't have closets, did they? We won't be living that green unless the world ends, so to speak.
The world we are born into supports only so much saving of resources, by design - design of marketeers?
When one contemplates the ways to be green, one notices how expensive they are, doesn't one. Solar that is available is out of reach, and I have read so much that university research has perfected that will never be distributed. Those electric cars with their $30,000 batteries full of dangerous leftovers?
We can only do so much, by design.

What a hot topic and a completely hyped up one.
True Green Living is not expensive in money, but very expensive in time.
We are not going to go back to the old farming pioneer days, but there are things we can do: grow your own garden, recycle, compost! Stop buying things from China, don't buy food & stuff with excessive packaging,etc.
It's tough b/c we are not used to thinking about these things.
