You love to write because it represents your own world. A world for yourself, a world that nobdy is allowed to see, discover or appreciate not only with you but FOR YOU. From what you are sharing, it looks like you have chosen to place yourself behind others as in reality, you might consider to stand on your values, stand on your dignity but most of all on your identity.

There is only one reason to stay behind a flock. It is to see how the flock behave as if you are in the front, you cannot see what is going on behind you.

You have the right to believe in yourself; this right is at hand therefore, truly believe that people are waiting to hear from you. Anybody has a story to share but why chosing to share it with oneself?

You wrote peopms? publish it; you wrote a book? publish it; you wrote a symphony? Record it, etc. The day you decide to stand for yourself will be the day of victory for you. Fear is a choice for negativity and slavery. Keep in your heart that no one can come even close to a deposit to buy you; not even the biggest fortunes of this world, not even the biggest deceiver. So, show us your values; we are waiting.

Bernard what a great posting. We all have our own unique talents and abilities, and we really don't have the right to keep them hidden from the world, it is actually quite selfish not to give of ourselves in that way.

Deborah, I have had the same feelings about completing any writing that I have started. When you put something out there there is the risk that others will not like it and we will feel rejected. It is the most common fear that keeps people from reaching for their dreams. Any author who has been hugely successful including JK Rowling, Stephen King, Mark Victor Hansen have been rejected many times before someone believed in their work. I heard Mark Victor Hansen speak in Orlando and he said that every time we are rejected we should say....NEXT!!!I always remember his words. You know that there are writers out there that are not as good as you that have become successful and that your writing is good. Believe in yourself and keep on going...and if someone is negative...say to yourself...NEXT!!!
