FDA Establishes Task Force on Consumer Health Information for Better
Nutrition
“U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Mark B. McClellan,
MD, has announced the formation of an internal FDA task force that will
develop scientific guidance for establishing standards for qualified

SUN SAFETY - Here are some tips for enjoying the sun safely:
“1) Limit Time in the Midday Sun – the sun’s rays are strongest between
10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
2) Apply Sun Block before going outside. Most sun blocks take about 20

Nutrition and exercise are only two pieces of the puzzle of how to get fit
and lose weight, writes Michael Gerrish. The other "UFOs" ("unidentified
fitness obstacles") are barriers to getting fit. These might involve
sleep, work addiction, food allergies, or a number of medical or emotional
conditions or lifestyle issues.
Gerrish, an exercise physiologist, personal trainer, and psychotherapist,
gives a self-test to see which of the 58 UFOs are yours and describes how
you can conquer each one. He includes exercise information, with
descriptions and illustrations of recommended strength training and
stretching exercises, and a general diet plan. He also describes energy
block acutherapy, a self-help breathing and tapping sequence to treat
fears, addictions, cravings, self-sabotage, and post-traumatic stress.

real people who "stumbled, fell down, and got up many times, transforming

*** HEALTHY RECIPES –*** 


Baked flounder

2 lbs. Fresh flounder filets, 
3 large ripe tomatoes 
4 ozs. low-fat feta cheese 
1 cup black olives 
3 cups green beans 
3 chopped sweet apples
1 tsp. honey
2 cups lemon juice
2 Tbs. Olive Oil
pepper, parsley & oregano to taste

Using a medium sized deep baking pan, bake fish at 350° in 1 cup lemon
juice for approximately 25 minutes or until tender/cooked.

Simultaneously, place olive oil, sliced tomatoes, chopped apples, green
beans, 1 cup of lemon juice, parsley, oregano, pepper in a skillet over a
medium flame. Stir until tomatoes become soft.

Remove fish and place thin slices of cheese over the filets. Pour sliced
olives over fish and then pour warm skillet mixture onto the top of the
fish as well. Bake for another 5 minutes.
